This intensive program will give you foundation skills for professional coffee service and a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment - Prepare and Serve Espresso Coffee - (THHBFB12A from Cert II in Hospitality). Participants will gain in-depth skills and knowledge in: Espresso Coffees including Coffee Grind / Beans and Equipment; Preparing and Serving Espresso Coffees, such as Cappuccino, Macchiato, Lattes etc; Cleaning and General Maintenance of the Espresso Coffee Machines as well as a look into Milk Texturing and Coffee Art.

BARTENDING - SKILLS FOR BAR SERVICE

In this course participants will gain the employment edge by learning fundamental bartending skills. Areas covered include, customer service, wine opening and service, draught beer pouring and mixed spirit delivery. TEST & TAG ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

This course has been designed for those without electrical training to acquire the skills to perform inspections and tests of electrical equipment using a Portable Appliance Tester, as specified in the 'Code of Practice" Electrical Pratices for Construction Work, AS3760 and NSW OHS regulations. REPLACEMENT OF PLUGS AND SOCKETS

Gain the competency to be able to replace plugs on power tool leads and plugs and sockets on extension leads. TRAFFIC CONTROL - BLUE AND GREY CARD

Blue Card: For anyone who may be required to control traffic using a STOP/SLOW bat. Must have current Workcover Construction Induction (Green Card) Certificate, and current or expired P2 or higher drivers licence and bring to course.
Grey Card: For any person who is required to control traffic using a Stop / Slow bat in places that are not construction sites. Participants must show a drivers licence P2 (or above), but do not need a "Greencard". A blue or grey card qualification can be gained by attending any of the following course dates:

TRAFFIC CONTROL - YELLOW, RED & ORANGE

YELLOW LICENCE (Apply TCP, Level 2): Become competent in the implementation of signage & devices for a given Traffic Control Plan. Learn personal & environmental safety for roadwork sites in line with RTA and Aus Stds. Prerequisite - NSW Workcover Construction Induction Certificate

RED LICENCE (Select / Modify TCP, Level 3): Select an appropriate std TCP and make minor changes to assist site risks or local conditions. Implement placing of signs. Prerequisites: 12 months industry experience (contact centre for details)

ORANGE LICENCE (Design and Inspect TCP, Level 4): Design a non standard TCP or greatly modify/change an existing TCP. Conduct audits of Traffic Management System / Worksites. Prerequisites: Must have Red card with 12 months experience (contact centre for details).
