Jim Cosgrave Percussionist 'Spicy Fruit Chutney'
A great introduction to African Style hand percussion where you'll receive tuition from local percussionist Jim Cosgrave in Djembe, Djun Djun and Conga drums as well as other associated percussion instruments. Bring your own drum/percussion. Some limited equipment available - book in early.

FELT MAKING WORKSHOPS

Basics & Decorative Techniques: learn the basics of laying fleece, pre-felt decoration, and fulling to produce a strong and beautiful fabric. A hands-on class with plenty of samples and take home materials to go on with.
Resists - Bowl or Small Bag: Learn the basics of using a resist to hold layers apart and make a seam in your felt so that you can make an item in one piece. Participants would need to have attended one of the previous workshops or have some felt making experience.

If you ever wanted to learn the basic stitches of crochet or knitting, Esmay will take you step by step through these simple and beautiful arts. ART EXPRESSION FOR CHILDREN (8-12YRS)

This course aims to encourage and promote creative visual expression for the primary aged child. We shall explore drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture through guided projects and group exercises. All techniques taught will be easy to learn and apply - tailored for all children in the group. The emphasis will be on developing new skills in a fun and stimulating environment. QI GONG

Qigong are traditional Chinese healing exercises.Gong means "work" or "benefit" aquired through practice and perseverance. Qigong works with the life energy Qi. Through breathing techniques, movement, postures and meditation Qi can be harnessed. Qigong promotes balance and wellbeing, fostering both physical and mental health, helping to cope with the stress of daily life.
