ETHICS GYM - STRETCH YOUR BRAIN DILEMMA BUSTING
Suzi Ross B.A. (Psychology); B.Ed (Counselling)
Ethical dilemmas are a daily occurrence – we don't always recognise them a such. One type of dilemma is when 'right' competes with 'right' eg If you thought that being honest and being kind were both right; then what do you do in these situations – if you are honest it is not kind and if you are kind it is not being honest? Similarly, if justice, respect and care are equally right but in the options available to you they compete. What do you do when loyalty to a person and honesty compete?

This workshop will increase your capacity to discuss those ' grey areas ' of everyday life where there are many viewpoints regarding right and wrong . Learn to disagree without being disagreeable and how to to respect the views of others whilst also holding your own ground with a powerful and valid argument. This workshop deals with depth ideas presented in an enjoyable way. Come along and exercise your brain as you explore a number of interesting dilemmas.
